Adam likes to stand against the screen door while daddy mows the lawn. He looks like he could be 2 years old in this picture, but he's only just 10 months! Our kitchen is finally baby proofed, so no more playing with knifes. just kidding

My mom will be babysitting so we can go out tonight. Dinner and a movie, such a luxury these days. I think we're going to go see Coraline in 3D. It looks amazing,

Oh, here's a fun video. It's a look at what two anchormen do during the commercial breaks. Apparently this is from Chicago WGN channel 9 news. Their routine started out simple and then eventually grew until they filled up the entire break time. The male anchorman's sound effects during it cracks me up. What a fun place to work!

Last Tuesday was Adam's 9-month checkup at the doctor's office. We were a little late (he's almost 10 months now) because he's been sick. The funnest part of these checkups is getting his latest measurements and seeing where they fall on the curve. So here they are:

Height: 31" (100th percentile -- Gee, wonder where he get's that?!)
Weight: 23.5 pounds (90th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18" (75th percentile) Just as we suspected, he's above average. :-)

Now that Adam's crawling and standing has been perfected, his height is really coming into play. I mean, he's only 9 months old and he can reach things that are on TOP of our dinning room table!
